Dr. Khair Abdullah Ayad Abu Sa’alik is currently working as a Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Economy and Investment Committee in the Parliament and a General Manager & Director at The Jordan Pipes Manufacturing.

Dr. Abu Sa’alik is currently also a Board Member in a number of institutions including the: Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company, Jordan Petroleum Products Marketing Company, and the Jordan Pipes Manufacturing. Abu Sa’alik previously worked as a member of the Board of Directors of the Retirement Fund – Jordan Engineers Association, Chairman of the National Industry Support Committee – Jordan Engineers Association, Jordanian Authority for National Industry Support, Advisor to the College of Engineering – University of Science and Technology, and Chairman of the Standing Committee on Water – Institution for Standards and Metrology.

Mazen Homoud

Former ambassador to the UK.

His professional career span both the public and private sectors. With the government, he served as the ambassador the Jordanian ambassador to Britain from 2011 to 2017. This was preceded by leading roles in the government as General Manager of the Jordan Tourism Board and Deputy CEO of the Jordan Investment Board. Between 1989 and 2000 he served as Deputy Chief of Royal Protocol at the Royal Hashemite Court. His career started as a diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he was stationed at the Jordanian Permanent Delegation to the United Nations in New York after completing his compulsory military service. Between 2007 and 2017 he was the CEO of Jordan Projects for Tourism Development owner of the Tala Bay resort and development in Aqaba, Jordan.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology from the University of North Alabama in the United States of America (1984); he completed a Senior Executive Program from Harvard Business School in 2003. He is a 2004 Eisenhower Fellow. He is honored to carry several Jordanian and foreign decorations.

Mr. Issa Murad is currently working as a Senate Member at The Upper House Parliament, Rapporteur of the Financial and Economic Committee, Member of Arab, International and Expatriates Affairs Committee, and Member of the Legal Committee. In addition, he is one of the Board Member of Jordan Islamic Bank, Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development, and Jordan Society for Scientific Research. Murad previously worked as a Former Chairman of Amman Chamber of Commerce, Former Vice Chairman of the Board of Jordan Chamber-Commerce, Former Chairman of Jordan Europe Business Association, Former Board Member of Arab British Chamber of Commerce, and Former Board Member of Austro Arab Chamber of Commerce.

Samer Ibrahim Al Mofleh, Ph.D.

Adviser to the Director General for Strategic Planning and International Cooperation at the Jordanian Social Security Corporation.

Dr. Samer Al Mofleh currently serves as an Adviser to the Director General for Strategic
Planning and International Cooperation. Managing three core functions at the SSC which
are: Strategic Planning and Performance Management Directorate, Operations and
Quality Directorate, and International Cooperation Directorate the Jordanian Social
Security Corporation since April 2011, in addition to being a lecturer at the Graduate
School of Business Administration at the German Jordanian University since 2010.

Dr. Al Mofleh is currently also a Board Member in a number of institutions including the:
Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company, Jordan Petroleum Products Marketing Company,
Graduate School of Business Administration/German Jordanian University, Jordan
Economic Forum, Hydron Energy (Gulf), and is a former board of directors member at
Orange/Jordan Telecom Group.

Dr. Al Mofleh worked as an Economic Expert at The Prime Ministry of Jordan/Prime
Minister’s Office (2011-2010), and an Economic Expert at The Jordan Investment Board
(2010-2008), and worked as a part-time Expert with the World Bank Group on some
projects in the region.

Dr. Al Mofleh holds a Ph.D. Degree in Engineering Management from the University of
Bristol (2008), in addition to a M.Sc. Degree in Engineering Business Management from
Coventry University (2004), and a B.Sc. Degree in Computer Engineering from Applied
Science University (2002). Dr. Al Mofleh also holds some professional certifications and
published a number of research papers related to e-government and e-services
development.

Adli Kandah

Adli is the Director General of the Association of Banks in Jordan (ABJ) since July 2006. Before joining ABJ in 2006 he was the Economic Advisor for the Minister of Labor during the period 2005-2006, and the Manager of the “National Training & Employment Project”. He started his career in the Research Department at the Central Bank of Jordan in June 1990. He was delegated to work as an Economic Expert at Qatar Central Bank during the period June 2001- April 2004; also he was delegated to work in the “Privatization Unit” at the Prime Ministry of Jordan from 1997 until 1998.

Adli also enjoys academic experiences as he worked as part-time Professor at the University of Jordan, the University of Qatar, the Hashemite University, Al-Zaytouna University of Jordan, the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy and Mutah University. Also he enjoys memberships of several committees, and he had participated in many conferences, seminars and workshops.

Adli has conducted numerous studies, and published research papers in different areas in economics, trade, finance and banking. He also published several books on privatization, Banking, Financial Crises and GATS agreements. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics from the University of Glasgow in Scotland, UK since 1996. His thesis was on Economic Development and Privatization. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics since 1987 from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. His Masters dissertation was on The Balance of Payments in Jordan. Adli received a B. Sc. Degree in Economics from Yarmouk University, Jordan in 1985 and placed on the honor list of the college in 1984-1985.

He was a member of the National Dialogue Committee in 2011. He was a member of the Economic and Social Council in Jordan during the period 2013-2017. Adli is a member of the Arab Thought Forum. He was a member of the Middle East and North Africa Advisory Group to the Board of Directors of the International IDEA Foundation in Stockholm, Sweden 2011-2012. He is a member of the Arab Association for Economic Research / Cairo, and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation Fund – Ministry of Energy / Jordan, 2012-2016.

Adli is a member of the Deanship Board of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Middle East University / Jordan. A member of the Board of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at the Hashemite University / Jordan,
A member of the Advisory Group of the Department of Finance and Banking, Philadelphia University / Jordan. He participated in a large number of local, regional and international conferences. He has more than 60 researches and studies published in many economic fields.

Areas of interest: monetary policy, fiscal policy, international economy, financial markets, labor economics, banking, economic development, control and regulation, privatization, public-private partnership, corporate social responsibility and sustainable development.
