The impacts of high commodity prices from the country of origin and exporting countries on the Jordanian economy

The measures and procedures that were followed globally in dealing with the Corona pandemic had a significant impact on all global economies, and the economic impact that will have on commodity prices (Commodities) as a result of the rise in countries of origin and exporting countries cannot be ignored. The reason for the rise in commodity prices is due to the rise in the prices of raw materials, the challenges of supply and demand and the demand of importing countries to increase their strategic stocks of basic commodities, the rise in shipping costs due to the rises taking place and the result of the new health protocols, both in the increase in costs resulting from the exchange and handling of goods and the increase in the periods for shipping the goods. Some countries have also introduced new export tax duties, which will also contribute to an increase in prices.
